Ever been to a move and just had to go pee?

Now there is a way to get around this. Noooo, I'm not talking about bringing a bottle with you or some other pre-positioned device (that's just nasty!)

I'm talking about what every Geek probably already has, but YOU need, and if not you, then your friend, girlfriend or even mother! This website is call RunPee.com, and what these fine folks do is watch a movie, time when it gets boring and posts on their pretty nifty site when is the best time to go for a quick 4 to 8 minute dash to the washroom.

Afraid of missing anything? Don't. RunPee.com will also fill you in with what you missed, in about 1 or two paragraphs. The shorter the paragraphs, the more boring what you missed probably was. A nice  touch is that they not only tell you the "approximate" time that you should go dash (It's not like they are carrying stopwatches and laptops or anything like that into the theatre), but they will also describe the scene immediately before you should start your dash, so that you know exactly when to get up to miss the least (and presumably the most boring parts).

RunPee.com is coming of age, with development of an iPhone app to endable users to upload and using a built-in timer-interface, alert you of these "dead-zones", now with vibration mode. I guess they are also working on a "live" version that you can check while in the movie theatre, and they are now working on the Android Phone App right now, and the BlackBerry version next.

Just my luck, I have a Palm, and that is a bit further down the list. Oh well, I guess I will just have to log on at home and upload the times into my smartphone the old fashioned way for now.

Finally, if you are really bored, watch the RunPee.com graphic at top left of the screen - it IS cute and fits extremely well with the "reason d'etre" of the site. Uh, keep yer eyes on the letter "n". Its worth watching.

I give this site 4 Gerbils! When the Palm app comes out, I may revisit my decision...

Welcome to my Favourite Links Blog.

I plan on keeping all those interesting and perhaps weird links to websites that I may mention in my other blogs. Also, if my friends send me some links I think are worthy of posting here, I will include them as well
